Care
Everyday care for mirror, brushed and coloured stainless steel
Start with gentle cleaning, thorough rinsing and drying to preserve the approved appearance.
Identify the finish first and test an uncertain cleaning method on a small concealed area.
A simple routine
For general architectural stainless steel, use a soft cloth and mild detergent, rinse away residue and dry. Wipe brushed finishes along the grain. Check cleaner compatibility for coloured or anti-fingerprint surfaces.
What should you avoid?
Avoid wire wool, hard scraping tools, chlorine bleach and strong acids. Identify stubborn deposits before selecting a treatment; do not mix cleaning chemicals.
Agree care instructions at handover
Keep the sample ID, finish description, cleaning instructions and film-removal requirements with the handover documents. Confirm film suitability for transport, exposure and subsequent processing.
What if it is already scratched or discoloured?
Share photos, finish details and the cleaners used. Before repairing a visible mirror or coloured area, evaluate a sample to see whether the treatment changes texture, gloss or colour.
